Seventh-day Adventist, Christian Tours of Asia
When we think of Christianity around the world, Asia isn’t first area to come to mind, but in truth, the world’s largest continent also has a long history of followers of Jesus Christ. Gospel Travel is pleased to offer custom trips to China, Korea, Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines and throughout Asia.
Christianity spread quickly from western Asian countries such as Iran and India, and arrived in China by the 7th century. In the present day, the Seventh-day Adventist Church has over 1.1 million members in the Southern Asia-Pacific Division (SSD) of the church, spanning Asian countries such as Pakistan, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and the Philippines. The Northern Asia-Pacific Division (NSD) covers the wide ranging territory that includes China, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Mongolia, North Korea and South Korea. The NSD has over 700,000 members.
Pioneers & Beyond
Much of Gospel Travel’s focus in Asia is on the Pioneer Program and the history of the church in this diverse part of the world. Sites include the missionary established by the first Adventist in Asia, Abraham La Rue, in Hong Kong in 1888.
Gospel Travel is proud to create custom tours of Asia for pastors, churches, church groups, youth groups and other Christian organizations. We can also develop travel plans for groups such as Pathfinders, who are undertaking mission trips or travel to conferences. Asian destinations for missionaries are also extremely popular with Seventh-day Adventists from throughout the world. The Gospel Travel team can conduct travel planning and manage logistics to help make these group activities memorable and meaningful.
